The romance and excitement of ballooning is unsurpassed by any other form of flying. Your flight, lasting approximately one hour, will enable you to see the British countryside from a new and exhilarating perspective. The ease with which we gently lift into the sky and float along, creates a remarkable feeling of
freedom and tranquillity.

Balloon flights take place shortly after dawn and a few hours before dusk, when the air is stable and the winds at their lightest. As for the time of year - the choice is yours! Each season has its own special characteristics; crisp, clear winter mornings are as magical as balmy summer evenings.

Once we have met you at the launch site you will enjoy the spectacle of seeing the balloon envelope being inflated and prepared for take-off. If you are feeling energetic you can participate in the preparations.

In terms of what to wear, it is important to appreciate that the temperature during the flight will be similar to that on the ground. Loose clothing, suitable for outdoor activities, is preferable and strong shoes or boots are essential. A cap or hat to protect from the heat of the burners may be useful. Cameras and lightweight video equipment are welcome.

Throughout the flight the progress of the balloon will be monitored by the support team who follow the balloon in a recovery vehicle. They are in constant radio contact with the pilot. Once we have landed the crew packs away the balloon and transports you back to the take off-site with the minimum of delay - but not before you join us in the customary glass or two of Champagne to celebrate your flight. The whole adventure takes approximately three hours.
